Recklinghausen leuchtet (illuminated)

For the past 10 years Recklinghausen leuchtet (illuminated) has been one of the annual highlights here with thousands of visitors everyday during the fortnightly event. More than 30 buildings and houses of the Old Town are illuminated in many fascinating colours during that time, with the town hall always playing the leading part regarding a very spectacular illumination.
